Pat Lamanna is passionate about health and safety and has been in the field for over 30 years.  Two years ago Pat retired from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. He served in various capacities, including rehabilitation counselor, project management, return to work specialist and lastly Director of the Ottawa and Kingston WSIB Offices.

Today, Pat continues to be actively involved in health and safety.  He splits his time between teaching Health & Safety at Algonquin College in Ottawa, running his own consulting company and doing volunteer work for Mr. Rob Ellis and his charitable organization MySafeWork.com.  Mr. Ellis became a motivational speaker on health and safety after he lost his son David to a tragic workplace incident.
